Catherine Cooper Beebe Swearingen, 79, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd G. Swearingen Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Craig Swearingen and Floyd Gerrett Swearingen Jr., both of Bay Minette; daughter, Shirley Swearingen (Walter) Parker of Springhill, La.; sister, Shirley Beebe Calkins of Albuquerque, N.M.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5 at First United Methodist Church of Bay Minette with the Rev. Walter L. Parker Jr. and the Rev. Bruce Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 338, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
