BON SECOUR — The Swift-Coles Historic Home will host its first annual Picnic Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 27.
The public is invited to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit under beautiful live oak trees and enjoy a picnic lunch while listening to Dixieland Jazz and Ragtime music.
People will be able to play lawn games and stroll around the property to see antique Model T and Model A cars and people in vintage clothing.
Admission at the gate will be $10 for adults, $5 for children between 6 and 12 years old, and free for children under 6.
Guided tours of the house will be available at regular rates and not included in the gate admission for the Picnic Day event.
Lunch includes ham, turkey or homemade pimento cheese sandwiches, chips, homemade cookies, lemonade, iced teas or water.
The Swift-Coles Historic Home is located at 17424 Swift-Coles Lane in Bon Secour.
