SPANISH FORT, Ala. — Members of the Baldwin County Drug Task Force have arrested four county residents and charged them with drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A search warrant was served March 2 at a mobile home located at 31173 U.S. Highway 31 in Spanish Fort. According to authorities, an amount of cocaine reaching the quantity threshold for distribution and trafficking (28 grams, per state law) was found there, culminating a five-month undercover operation.
Investigators also found several thousand dollars they say is related to the cocaine trafficking. Also recovered, according to investigators, were several pieces of stolen property.
The residence belongs to Kendrick Kentrell Patrick, 24, one of those charged in the case. The others arrested are Akeibra Monique Patrick, 19, of Loxley; Brittany Chitara Jackson, 25, of Spanish Fort; and Jessica Leigh Blowe, 22, also of Spanish Fort.
Kendrick Patrick arrived at the home while the search warrant was being executed. The other three suspects were there when law enforcement officials arrived, according to officials.
All four suspects were still being held Thursday at the Baldwin County Corrections Center in Bay Minette under a $1,001,000 bond. The case remains under investigation and more charges are pending.
