Aaron Douglas Tate, 87, a native of Bessemer and a longtime resident of Fairhope, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at a local healthcare facility.
He was a member of Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Tate.
Survivors include two sons, Charles D. (Phyllis) Tate and Ronald Tate, both of Fairhope; one daughter, Alice (Hank) Barron of Spanish Fort; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 21 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Burial followed at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
