Joe Ted Taylor, 83, a native of Elba and a former resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007 at Robertsdale Health Care in Robertsdale.
He was a poultry farmer and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Etoyel Taylor.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie (Tony) Tillman of Loxley and Sue (Jack) James of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jay James and Jessica Aberdeen; three great-grandchildren, Hannah James, Jack Aberdeen and Emily Aberdeen; and brother, Bobby Taylor of Opp.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Tapley officiating. Burial will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Daphne. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
The pallbearers will be Kevin Boutwell, Brian Blount, Ken Folsom, Patrick Tolbert, Eddy Sullivan and Michael Boyett.
