Tea Party to host political forum Feb. 8

The North Baldwin Chapter of the Common Sense Campaign Tea Party is hosting a town hall forum on Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. in the Baldwin County Commission chambers in Bay Minette.‬

Organizer David Peterson said local candidates on the ballot for several offices will be in attendance, including:

• Congressional candidate Dean Young

• Baldwin County Board of Education candidate Chris Francis

• Alabama Board of Education candidates Matt Brown, Carl Myrick and Jackie Zeigler

• Donald Trump delegate candidate and Baldwin County Commissioner Frank Burt

Peterson said the group is not planning to endorse any candidates at the meeting.

“This is just a purely informational event,” Peterson said. “We want the voters of Baldwin County to be informed about who they’re voting on and what those candidates stand for before they go to the polls.”
