Peggy Lucille Pickett Tedder, born Sept. 9, 1940, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
She was a long-time resident of Silverhill, but had recently made her home in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Clyde Pickett and her mother Gladys Lenore (Rumley) Pickett.
Survivors include her husband Wilkie D. Tedder, two children Jeffrey (Lynne) Tedder of Loxley and Kellie (Paul) Motter of Bossier City, La.; four grandchildren Heather Motter, Katelyn Motter, McCall Tedder and Nolen Tedder, two sisters Barbara (Jerry) Faircloth of Dallas and Diana (Larry) Skelton of Trenton, Tenn.
The family will receive close friends and relatives at an informal gathering from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at the home of Jeffrey and Lynne Tedder, 14316 Timber Ridge Drive, Loxley.
