Tehra May Myers, age 31, born Feb. 3, 1981, died at her home on Sept. 25, 2012, succumbing to her battle with diabetes and cervical cancer.
A resident of Loxley, she attended Robertsdale High School. Her talents of writing self descriptive poems and stories as well as her remarkable drawings, sketches and painting leaving lasting impressions upon ones soul. To all those who knew Myers, she was always “my best friend”. She always gave the best advice and gave forgiveness to those who needed her. She is preceded in death by father, Leon O. Myers Jr., and her son, Kenneth Ray Collins. She is survived by her daughter, Angel Nicole Collins of Loxley; her mother, Kathleen Myers; two brothers, Lee Andrew Myers and Brannen Jay Myers all of Loxley; two aunts and five uncles who will cherish their memories. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road, Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526. “Hold me not with your arms, but with your heart and there I shall always remain” Tehra.
