Tell Congress what you believe

Watching the news just makes me crazy. Why does it make me crazy? Because of what our federal government is doing to our economy. I’m angry because as a people we can rally around our congress and promote a message of freedom and making good choices for our country but we don’t take the time. We are too busy living our lives to pay attention to what is happening with the state of the union.

I want to send a message to the powers that be and tell them the people of this country are the boss of what should be happening not the other way around. I am the mother of nine children and spend long hours keeping my family life going. I work at several jobs to keep food on the table and fuel in my car and I want to tell them what I believe.

I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don’t push it on others. I believe in buying American products whenever I can and promote free enterprise. I believe that the money I earn belongs to me not a government who wants to ignore its own citizens and send the money away to other countries.

I believe owning a gun doesn’t make me a killer, but a smart American. I believe being a minority does not make anyone noble or victimized or entitled to anything but gives all those who live in this country an opportunity to work for the American dream. I don’t hate the rich or pity the poor but remember that my financial future all depends on my hard work.

I believe that if you are selling me a fast food meal or any other item you should do it in English. We have spoken English here for many generations and it should stay that way.

My heroes are George Washington, Thomas Edison, Bill Gates, John Wayne, Ronald Regan, Charlton Heston and any other great American who stands for our Constitutional rights and helps our country become a better place.

If you were born here and don’t like it then you are free to move anywhere else where you can build your own house, start your own business and take vacations anywhere in the country without a passport.

I believe that we have plenty of resources within the boundaries of our own country to fuel our cars, light our homes and hire our citizens for jobs that will take care of our families.

I believe that it doesn’t take a village to raise a child; it takes two parents who should have the right to discipline and educate their children in the best way they know how.

I’m proud that “God” is written on our money and repeated in the Pledge of Allegiance. This is AMERICA and we like the way our forefathers set up our country. We don’t want to be like Russia or China so stop trying to make it that way. We want our country back and will fight to the death in keeping the United States, America the Beautiful.
