The annual event—in its 13th year—will award $2,300 in prizes for art entries into the competition.
The “Best of Show” award winner will receive $1,000. The “BRAG Founders” award winner receives $500, and the “Rachel Thomas” award winner receives $300. There also will be five Merit award winners who will receive $100 each, and five honorable mention winners who will receive a certificate.
“This is our big show for the year. We expect a pretty big crowd,” Marion McAleer, former president of the art guild, said.
Entries were accepted through last Saturday, and calls were made Monday to entrants on whether their entrier were accepted for the show.
“We don’t know (who the winners) are yet,” McAleer said.
