The Haven Adoption Guarantee Shelter recently received a check from the authors of the Boat House Buddies, a series of children’s books that was conceived and written to help children deal with the aftermath of the 2010 BP oil spill. Book #7 in the 10-book series, “It’s a Dog’s Life”, was published last year, with a portion of the proceeds going to the no-kill animal shelter. Representing the Haven are Board Members
