Sarah Cox Thigpen, 85, a native of Savannah, Ga., a former resident of Magnolia Springs and a resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, April 15, 2010.
She was very active in the Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jarman Thigpen; and a son, Dr. Jarman Wade Thigpen.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah L. Schulten of Osprey, Fla.; grandchildren, Ashley W. Schulten of New York, Maurice Joseph (Anna) Schulten of Venice, Fla., and Garrett A. (Marshall Jr.) Schreeder) of Huntsville; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Lexie and Marshall III; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
