Thomas Albert Walton, 89, born in Stockton and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.
He was a self-employed welder.
He is survived by his children, Joan Walton Hastings, Albert Wayne Walton, Joanne Walton Sanders and Joyce Walton Little, all of Bay Minette; one brother, Grady Lee Walton of Bay Minette; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Elizabeth (Norton) Walton.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lloyd Hastings and the Rev. Mark Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
