Thomas Berry Norton Jr., age 69, a native of York, Ala. and a resident of Gulf Shores, Ala., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran, who served in the Vietnam War, was a member of the Thomas B. Norton Library Board and previously served as Baldwin County’s district attorney and circuit judge.
Mr. Norton was preceded in death by two daughters, Karie and DeAnn.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kay Norton of Gulf Shores, Ala.; two sons, Danny (Jennifer) Norton of Birmingham, Ala. and Walt (April) Norton of Gulf Shores, Ala.; one sister, Mona Jean Pritchet of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Thomas, Millie, Max, Ashley, Donald, Christopher and Randall; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley from 5 until 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Bay Minette City Cemetery.
