Thomas Ernest Carroll, age 70, of Foley, formerly of Mora, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne; parents, Ernest and Marie; brothers, Dick and Ron; sisters, Sue and Barb. He is survived by son, Todd Newton of Mora; daughter, Jodi (Deane) Nelson of New Auburn; former wife, Faye Carroll of Mora; sisters-in-law, Shirley Carroll of Finlayson, Cherri Carroll of Ontario, Canada; grandsons, Broderick and Dylan Nelson, Sam Newton; several nieces and nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ogilvie with the Rev. Marc Freiberg officiating. Music was provided by Donna Angermeier. Pall Bearers will be Bob Reynolds, Jack Sigstad, Dennis Morgenweck, Bevan Beck, Jerry Christiansen, and Mike Osterdyk. Honorary Pall Bearers were Broderick Nelson, Sam Newton, Dylan Nelson, and Matt Putz. Burial was at the Lakeview Cemetery in Aitkin, Minnesota.
