Thomas Maston Barnhill, 91, lifelong resident of Loxley, Alabama, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017.
Mr. Barnhill was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman, member of Loxley United Methodist Church and Loxley Lions Club.
His passion was farming with Barnhill Brothers Farms, and was also a real estate broker with Barnhill Reality.
Mr. Barnhill was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Ed Brueggemann; four brothers, Roger, Charles, David and Gordon; and two sisters, Hazel and Marjorie.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Nelson Barnhill; three sons, Thomas M. Barnhill Jr. (Sylvia) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Raymond Glen Barnhill (Joy) of Monticello, Arkansas, Greg Barnhill (Glee) of Loxley, Alabama; two daughters, Frances Brueggemann of Point Clear, Alabama, Susan Sinclair (Tony) of Fairhope, Alabama; two brothers, Ben Barnhill (Betty), Wendel Barnhill (Charlotte), both of Fairhope, Alabama; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Loxley United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley.
