Thomas P. Cantwell, 66, born July 17, 1944 in Pensacola, Fla., a resident of Lillian, died Friday, March 4, 2011.
He was the youngest son of John and Vera Langford Cantwell.
He had a jovial spirit and huge heart, having contributed his time and energy helping others less fortunate through the Ecumenical Ministries, receiving many honors for his works of charity.
Survivors include a brother, Jack (Shirley) Cantwell; friend and long time companion, Elaine Kennedy; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, many more family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale, with Father William James officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice, 2770 S. McKenzie St., Foley, AL 36535 or to the American Cancer Society.
Cremation arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Robertsdale.
