Thomas Patrick “Pat” Kelley, 72, a native of Alabama and a resident of Mobile and Daphne for 20 years, died Thursday, June 2, 2011, after copurageously fighting cancer for seven years.
He spent many years in the bulk paper business and served a term as president of TAPPI while living in St. Louis, Mo.
He will be remembered and missed by his family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mildred Kelley.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Ruth Kelley; daughters, Cynthia Grob, Victoria Kirkman, Susan Ulrich, Patricia (Joe) Mitchell, Donna Grief and Sharon (Fred) Yamamoto; nine grandchildren and thre great-grandchildren; sister, Maureen Glass; nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Visitation begins at 6 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday, June 6 at Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service, Daphne with the Rev. David Tilney officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532-3899.
