Thomas Ray Whitehead, 70, a resident of Foley, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Whitehead was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys O. Parker; and his father, Levernard J. Whitehead.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife of 51 years, Mary Lou Whitehead; his daughters, Marian (Jack) Dorman of Red Level, Charlotte (David) Magner of Summerdale, Anita (Stuart) Price of Elberta and Wendy (Mark) Burkhead of Middlebury, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, from 6-8 p.m., at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Summerdale Assembly of God Church.
Interment will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
