Morgan Elizabeth Thompson, 18, a native and lifelong resident of Fairhope, died Monday, July 12, 2010.
She was a graduate of Fairhope High School, class of 2010, where she completed the International Baccalaureate Program.
She earned the honor of co-valedictorian. She was academically gifted beyond words.
She was a wonderful artist and received the highest ranking in the IB program in art.
She was an animal lover, an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was one of 80 students that had been accepted into the LSU architecture program.
Survivors include her parents, Peter K. and Mary S. Thompson of Fairhope; sister, Heather Thompson (Raymond) Rohe of Spanish Fort; brother, Sean Thompson of Fairhope; niece, Isabelle Rohe of Spanish Fort; paternal grandmother, Joan R. Thompson of Fairhope; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 19 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 20 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Morgan Thompson Memorial Fund at any BBA Compass Bank.
