Dorothy Simmons Thompson, 84, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Bay Minette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Elbert Thompson.
Survivors include a sister, Mildred Dean of Little River; a number of nieces, nephews, numerous friends and her church family.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 8 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
