Jean Louise Millwood Thomson died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at her home in Gulf Shores.
She was born Feb. 24, 1929 in Pocahontas to Pinkney Millwood and Marie Sanderson Millwood.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends that loved her dearly.
In recent years, Jean devoted much of her time to Alzheimer’s patients at the William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette.
She was an active member of Morgan‚s Chapel United Methodist Church in Bon Secour, the Air Force Sergeant’s Auxiliary and Post 44 American Legion.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, David H. Thompson; her parents; and two sisters, Hazel Ruth Millwood and Lorraine Millwood Shelton.
Survivors include a brother, Everett Hollis (Violet) Millwood many nieces, nephews and c ousins.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Nov. 25 at Morgan's Chapel United Methodist Church in Bon Secour. Burial was held at Prattville Memory Gardens.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Unit Recreational Services, William F. Green State Veterans Home, 300 Faulkner Drive, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
