FOLEY, Alabama – Three murder suspects have been arrested by Baldwin County deputies after two home invasions at a County Road 12 trailer park Monday night. The robberies left one man dead and another suffering from a gunshot wound, officials said.
Crystal Rose Shaw, 28, and Fredrick Ike Odom, 40, were arrested Tuesday morning, each facing one count of capital murder and one count first-degree assault. Deputies continued searching for a third suspect, Travis “TC” Golden, 25, before he turned himself in 3:30 a.m., Wednesday morning on capital murder and attempted murder charges.
“He didn’t have a lot to say,” Sheriff’s spokesman Maj. Anthony Lowery said in a telephone interview. “We had put immense pressure with the media and the police presence around the Foley area to flush him out. I think he was just ready to get it over with.”
All three are being held at the Baldwin County Corrections Center without bond. Shaw and Golden have residences listed in Foley, while Odom has an address in Grand Bay.
The trio entered a trailer on lot five Monday night intent of robbing the residents before a “brief struggle” broke out with victims, resulting in a head strike of a Hispanic male resident, according to reports. The triumvirate criminals then entered a residence on the next lot and shot two victims, killing one and wounding another. The alleged perpetrators then fled in a gold Nissan Altima reportedly owned by Shaw.
Deputies found the two Hispanic males after responding to calls from the trailer park. Paramedics delivered the wounded victim to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center before he was airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. He is currently in stable condition.
A bond hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday.
