The popular Bald Eagle Bash for 2013 returns to Weeks Bay Reserve on May 18th. Tickets are on sale now for the 4th annual installment of the popular fundraiser for the Weeks Bay Foundation. Event hours are 4:00-7:00 p.m. on the Weeks Bay at the waterfront Tonsmeire Weeks Bay Resource Center at the Fish River Bridge on U.S. Highway 98 in Fairhope. .
Weeks Bay Foundation is the only nationally-accredited land trust in coastal Alabama. The Bald Eagle Bash is held in support of the foundation, to enjoy “a taste of Weeks Bay”. The 'Bash' features fresh Gulf shrimp and other 'native' cuisine prepared by your favorite local restaurants. Live music this year will be performed by by Rollin’ in the Hay.
Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the gate. Beverages are included in the price of admission, and free parking is available at the Weeks Bay Reserve Safe Harbor site, with BRATS shuttles providing transportation to the event.
