Over at Tipseas Steam Shack in Orange Beach, the party ended a bit early, but that was just fine with revelers there.

Instead of waiting until midnight, the staff did a countdown at 10 p.m. complete with a balloon drop and champagne toast.

Kind of an “old folks early night” which was just fine with the crowd there.

Jack Robertson entertained with music and comedy before and after dinner. The restaurant had a special menu for the evening with choices of steak and lobster or a baked half of a chicken and sea scallops. Special appetizers were also available.
