Todd Gaylon Smith, 52, born in Mobile and a resident of the White House Fork community of Bay Minette, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

He was a computer engineer with Worldwide Tech Services.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda (Gentry) Smith of White House Fork; his children, Melissa Sutton (Jeramy) of Summerdale and Kayse Smith (William Hall) of Robertsdale; grandchildren, Hagen Sutton and Easton Sutton; his father, Tommie Smith of White House Fork; a brother, Terrell Jackson Smith (Nancy) of Galveston, Texas; two sisters, Rhonda Sue Smith Davidson (Dr. Tom) of Gulf Shores and Neita Michelle Smith of Lillian; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Neita Aleane Smith.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Fred Stallworth officiating. Interment will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Curt Smith, Scott Wallace, Rodney Wright, Marcus Wallace, Kerry Wallace and David Overstreet. Honorary pallbearers are Jeramy Sutton, Chris Merritt, Matt Smith, William “B.J.” Hall and T.J. Davidson.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 13, 2013, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., at the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Regions Bank for medical expenses for Todd Smith.
