ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- At approximately 8 p.m. Saturday units from Orange Beach Fire/Rescue were dispatched to the 27200 block of Gulf Road for a child fallen from a balcony. 

Units arrived on scene to find a 17-month old boy had fallen from a first floor balcony to the ground.  The patient was treated on scene by OBFR paramedics and then transported to the Alabama Marine Police helipad by Medstar Ambulance.

The patient was then transferred to Lifeflight for transport to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
