Tommy Gene Gilreath, 77 of Robertsdale, died Tuesay, Aug. 10, 2010.
He retired from U.S. Navy after many years of service to his country.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Sutton Gilreath.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellen Pierce of Fort Worth,Texas; son, Peter Gilreath of Robertsdale; three sisters, Peggy Johnson of Panama City, Fla., Shirley Clark and Sarah Roberson, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother, Harry Gilreath of Clanton; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors were held Friday, Aug. 13 at Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Navy/Marine Corps relief society.
Arrangements were made by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
