Tony A. Pizzotti, age 101, native of Hammond, Ill., and a resident of Fairhope passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale. He was a very loved man and will be missed by all those who knew him. Pizzotti was preceded in death by his wives, Frances Cecilia Pizzotti and Frances Allen Pizzotti; a son, John A. Pizzotti. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Jean (George) Havranek; two sons, Anthony E. (Mary) Pizzotti; Carl (Nora) Pizzotti, all of Fairhope; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Joanne Pizzotti and longtime friend, Kathryn Roberts of Fairhope. Visitation was held Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic School or a favorite charity.
