SPANISH FORT, Ala. — Angela Hill, wife of Spanish Fort High’s football Toros’ defensive coordinator Earnest Hill, had a stroke recently; the event reportedly was her second in a year. She was hospitalized in Pensacola.

SFHS athletic director and head football coach, Bryant Vincent, said the students, faculty and athletic department were united in prayer and concern for coach Hill’s wife and family.

“Angela’s condition is serious,” Vincent said. “We look at this as touching all of us because we consider ourseves as one big family here and of course, coach Hill and Angela are part of this family.”

Vincent and Hill were teammates and classmates at the University of West Alabama and coached together at Enterprise before moving to Spanish Fort.

“It’s tough on him especially, but all of us are hoping for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with him and Angela.”
