Travis E. White started his earthly journey in Cullman County on July 13, 1917 and 97 years later started his eternal journey on April 26, 2015.
Travis White shared his earthly visit for 75 years in marriage with Addie Ruth Page White, and treasured her love and companionship.
Travis started working for the railroad during World War II and retired as a Railroad Engineer many years later. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the Birmingham Metro York Rite Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church Fairhope, Ala.
Travis and Addie Ruth resided in Gulf Shores for 30 years and later moved to Fairhope Ala.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis White; stepfather, the Rev. Melvin L Eidson; mother, Arzola Hale White Eidson; and brother, Mace White.
There are two surviving sons, Waynard (Janet) White and Craig White, two granddaughters, Paige White McCrory, Penny White (Jason) Goffinet; four great-grandchildren, Megan McCrory, Emily McCrory, Jackson Goffinet and Anna Grace Goffinet.
Funeral services will be at Enon Baptist Church, 8001 County Road 1435, Vinemont Ala. on Thursday April 30, 2015.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m.; service at 11 am.
Burial will be at the Cullman City Cemetery, Cullman Ala.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, a memorial gift can be made to Enon Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
