James Ross Trawick, 85, a native of Ariton and a resident of Lake Martin and Montrose, died Thursday, March 18, 2010.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a past president of the Kiwanis Club. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was also very dedicated to various civic organizations.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Trawick (Buddy) Brackin of Montrose and Donna Trawick (Terry) Prince of Auburn; brother, Jack (Carolyn) Trawick of Cullman; grandchildren, Ashley Brackin (Britton) Bonner of Montrose, Byron Brackin of Gulf Shores, Paige Prince of Birmingham and Trawick Prince of Auburn; great-grandchildren, LeeAnn Bonner and Katie Bonner, both of Montrose; loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20 at Bethel Assembly of God Cemetery, Ariton.
