The Foley Art Center’s 51st Annual Trim-A-Tree is now open! The store will remain open for six weeks, from Friday, Nov. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 23, and features holiday fine arts and crafts. This year, the store is in Suite #182 in Tanger Outlets, Foley. A preview party was held on Thursday, Nov. 9, to reveal this year’s new decorations and finds.
Over 125 artists and craftsmen from across the southeast are featured in the event. They’re all members of the Foley Art Center, and sell their work on consignment.
This year, you can stop in and find one-of-a-kind ornaments, florals, wood carvings, stained glass, fused glass mosaics, pottery, dolls, driftwood trees, polymer clay sculptures, blown glass, and jewelry to purchase. The walls are covered with original artworks in multiple mediums, all available to purchase.
The Foley Art Center has been participating in the Gulf Coast area for more than fifty years, providing art programs, art grants to local schools’ art departments, and art classes for all ages. Trim-A-Tree is one of two of the center’s primary fundraisers, the other being the annual Mother’s Day weekend Art in the Park.
Drop by now until Dec. 23 to purchase unique gifts for yourself and loved ones. The items are unlike any you will find anywhere else! Hours for Trim-A-Tree are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. For more information, call 251-943-4381 or visit FoleyArtCenter.com. You can also find them on Facebook.
