T.C. Turberville, 82, died Sunday, Nov. 02, 2008.
He was a World War II veteran who saw action during the Battle of the Bulge. He loved his church, Fish River Baptist where he served as a deacon for many years. He was devoted to helping with the prison ministry in Bay Minette for many years as well as a volunteer at "The Shoulder" Rehab Program and The Thomas Hospital Auxillary. He was an avid golfer and loved Alabama Football. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Peggy Anne Turberville.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 55 years, Maggie Stokley Turberville of Fairhope; four daughters, Diane (Charles) Bryars of Rabun, Debbie (Fred) Diegmann of Fairhope, Patricia (Alan) Edhegard of Silverhill and Pamela (David) Ashcraft of Spanish Fort; five sisters, Mable Harris of Monroeville, Lillie Peavy of Bay Minette, Mollie Turberville of Wilmer, Willie Nell Taylor of Pace, Fla., and Ervie Ann Wright of Excel; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
