Sarah Helen Turner and Thomas Alex Peterson were united in marriage Nov. 7, 2009 at the bride’s home in Fairhope.

The Rev. Timothy Ferrell officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Linda Turner of Fairhope.

She is a 2003 graduate of Fairhope High School, a 2005 graduate of Faulkner State Community College and a 2007 graduate of the University Of West Florida. She is a bookkeeper at East Bay Automotive & Machine Shop Inc.

The bridegroom is the son of Thomas and Frances Peterson of Summerdale.

He is a 2002 graduate of Central Christian School. He works in marine electronics at Coastal Marine and Electronics.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Joseph B. Turner.

Katie Salers of Jacksonville, N.C., served as matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Michelle Odom of Deer Park.

Neil Peterson of Richmond, Va., served as best man. Groomsman was Daniel Lowery of Loxley.

Sara Creekmore of Mobile served as flower girl. Landon Peterson of Richmond, Va., served as ring bearer.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Sims Family Music, Chelsea Sims, violinist.

Ushers were Alex Turner and Tres Wortham.

A reception at the bride’s home followed the ceremony.

Music/entertainment was provided by Southern Sounds DJ.

After a wedding trip out west, the couple reside in Summerdale.
