FAIRHOPE -- With a heavy turnout for the COVID-19 vaccination clinic at 3 Circle Church in Fairhope on Saturday, all 1,500 vaccines were administered before 12:30 p.m.
The clinic had been scheduled to continue until 3 p.m.
The parking lot was reported full more than an hour before the clinic began at 9 a.m. Organizers asked that anyone not in the parking lot at 7:45 a.m. return in three hours.
Vehicles are not allowed to line up on Alabama 104 and drivers will be asked to move.
The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, for individuals in Alabama Department of Public Health categories 1A and 1B as well as anyone 65 or older.
Thomas Hospital and the city of Fairhope will provide 1,500 of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines in partnership with the Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency, ADPH and 3 Circle Church.
