BAY MINETTE, Alabama—The Bay Minette Heat All-Star softball team is playing in the state tournament in Robertsdale this weekend.

The girls are coached by Rena Williams, Clint Dawson and Nicole Akins and are 9-0 this season. They won their District's Championship for 2013 and have also won the Commissioner's Tournament as well as the 2013 Pre-State Tournament.

Williams said the coaches and parents were proud of the players and how much they have accomplished this season, how well they have represented the City Of Bay Minette and also wanted to wish them luck this weekend.
