Vivia U. Underwood of Fairhope died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Sgt. Theodore Kaufman, killed in action in France, and the Rev. Boyd B. Underwood, minister with Presbyterian Church of U.S.A.
Survivors include two sons, Ted Kaufman of Fairhope, Boyd B. “Buddy” (Sandra) Underwood of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandsons, David and Lee Underwood of Pensacola; brother, Hulon Underwood of Campabello, S.C.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 23 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
