Shellie Marie Underwood and Nathan Brent Kichler were united in marriage June 5 at Swift Presbyterian Church in Miflin. Pastor Keith Cardwell officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Neal and Becky Underwood of Foley. She is 2002 graduate of Foley High School and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Business from the University of Alabama. She is a sales manager for Covey Communications in Gulf Shores.
The bridegroom is the son of Ruthann Kichler, his mother, and Donnis and Malinda Kichler, his father and stepmother.
He is a 2000 Foley High School graduate. He has a 2009 degree in structural and civil engineering from the University of Alabama. He works at Alabama Power as a Distribution Engineer.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Kristin Underwood, the bride's sister, was maid of honor and Haley Underwood, the bride's sister, was junior maid of honor, both are from Foley
Courtney Conerly, Huntsville, Ala., Eden Owen, Rachel Baker, Melissa R. Franks all of Foley, Rachel Myers of Gulf Shores, Dana Overton of Elberta were bridesmaids.
Sofia Hannah daughter of Britneigh Cossen served as flower girl. Braelynn Franks daugther of Chason and Melissa Franks served as honorary flower girl.
Landen Adams, son of JW Adams and Michelle Freitag served as ring bearer.
Matt "Chew" Kichler, brother of the bridegroom was best man.
Hudson Adams, JW Adams, Corey Kichle, Jason Rohe, Chad Lipscomb and Chris Byrd all of Elberta and Chad Owen of Foley were groomsmen.
The reception was held at Barber's Marina in Elberta. Afterward, the couple took a wedding trip to Aruba. They now reside in Elberta.
