FAIRHOPE, Ala.—The Fairhope Unitarian Fellowship is holding its spring yard sale on Saturday, April 18, from 7 to 11 a.m., rain or shine.
Members and friends of the Fellowship have been busy accumulating a large assemblage of treasures for what has become a community event in Fairhope.
Organizer Pam Perkins said, “This year we are adding baked goods, pecans and plants to all the other great ‘junk,’ including household items, jewelry, clothing and toys.”
Items for sale have included a canoe, motorcycle, mink stole, fine silver and jewelry, furniture and many other valuable items, as well as unusual odds and ends gathered over the years by members downsizing their households. This is a well-attended event, so shoppers should plan to arrive early. Most sale items will be displayed indoors, so rain is not a deterrent.
The Unitarian Fellowship is located at 1150 Fairhope Ave., across from the Satellite Courthouse.
For more information call the Fellowship at 929-3207.
