Dean Evans Vacalis, 55, a native of Mobile and resident of Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 from natural causes.
He was preceded in death by his father, C.E. “Deanie” Vacalis.
Survivors include his mother, Althea Fort Vacalis of Atlanta; sister, Olivia Vacalis Oliver of Atlanta; nephew, Luke Oliver of Atlanta; uncle; Jack Fort of Grand Bay; and numerous cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Episcopal Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Marietta, Ga.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
