ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Robertsdale Police Department is looking for one or more individuals responsible for vandalizing the baseball field at Robertsdale High School Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, Dec. 29 and 30.

Lt. Anthony Dobson, investigator with the Robertsdale Police Department, said the incident was reported at around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.

It appears, Dobson said, that one or more individuals drove onto the baseball field cutting multiple donuts into the field destroying the newly set grass on both the infield and the outfield.

While he would not go into specific details about the incident, Dobson said, investigators are following up on information they believe could lead them to a suspect or suspects.

“There are a couple of unique aspects of this case that we believe will lead us to the person or persons responsible,” he said.

If you have any information about this case contact officer Michael Baggett at the Robertsdale Police Department, 251-947-2222.
