Velma L. Poulson, 89, a native of Calhoun County, Miss., and a resident of Loxley, died March 9, 2012. Mrs. Poulson was a dedicated and active member of the Loxley First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Poulson; two grandsons, Virgil Van Bodle and Scott Edward Bodle. She is survived by 2 daughters, Betty Sue (Jerry) Pierce, Marbury, Claudia L. (Ronnie) Davis, Loxley; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Loxley First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bo Rice officiating and with interment in Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley. A visitation will be held Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Loxley First Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Josh Bodle, Peyton Bodle, Jeffrey Kuklo, II, Richard Dube, Cody Pierce and Culler Pierce. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenwood Cemetery Fund, 14750 County Road 66, Loxley, ALĀ  36551. Funeral arrangements by Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale.
