Velmarie Trawick Beech, 80, a native of Brewton and a resident of Elberta, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorron T. Beech; and son, Donald W. Parker.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Pat Parker (Bill) Specht of Elberta; four step-children, Jeff (Margaret) Beech, Darrell (Debbie) Beech and Paula (Danny) Brewer, all of Foley, and Beth (Bernie) Pryor of Andalusia; brother, Norvie Lee Trawick of California; four grandchildren, Charity (Dion) Henderson, Meredith (James) Akins, Aaron (Tiffany) Parker and Andrew (Traci) Parker; seven great-grandchildren, numerous step-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery.
