Vercel Maurine Campbell, 87, a native of Independence, Mo. and resident of Foley, died Aug. 17, 2014.
Mrs. Campbell enjoyed boating, sewing and gardening. She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and a member of the Clan Campbell Society.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her sons, Norman (Joann) Campbell of Palatka, Fla. and John Campbell of Foley; a sister, Mildred Goodwin of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Kenneth George of Topeka, Kan.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.
