Vernie Parnell Sr., 56, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Robertsdale, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013.
Mr. Parnell is survived by his wife, Martha Parnell of Robertsdale; daughters, Shirley Middleton of Robertsdale and Lisa Kleinschmidt of Foley; sons, Vernie “Bubba” (Billie Sue) Parnell Jr. of Robertsdale, DeWayne Kleinschmidt of Bay Minette, Ricky Lee of Albertville, Ala., Kevin Weaver of Perdido and William Hadley of Bay Minette; sisters, Norma Watson and Shirley Roberts, both of Robertsdale; brothers, Hank Parnell of Robertsdale, Tony Parnell of Foley, David Parnell of Silverhill and Ray Parnell of Bay Minette; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the Church of God Prophecy in Robertsdale.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service, from 1 until 2 p.m., at the church.
Burial will be in Rock Cemetery in Robertsdale.
