ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – The Mobile Vet Center has established a satellite location for the purpose of helping combat veterans in the Baldwin County area. Elizabeth “Liz” Wharton, LMFT, readjustment counseling specialist, offers psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and children. PTSD, depression, marital and family issues and other treatments are available.
The Baldwin County service is offered from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Robertsdale. Call 251-478-5906 for an appointment.
Disabled American Veteran Chapter Service officers also offer assistance with veterans benefits claim service from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Thursday at the church. For an appointment call 251-604,2004 from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday’s only. No messages please.
The DAV Chapter Service officers are from DAV Chapter 45, Fairhope. The chapter meets at 6:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month at VFW Post 5660, 950 Nichols Ave., Fairhope. Eligible veterans are welcome to attend.
