Vicki Gail Albritton, 61, a native of Mobile and resident of Foley since 2004, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015.
Ms. Albritton will be remembered for her compassion, empathy and beauty.
She enjoyed the beach, regular trips to Starbucks and spending time with family, friends and her beloved cat, Cooper. She cherished her granddaughter, Irene.
She graduated from W.P. Davidson in 1971 and attended George Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Madison Albritton; and stepfather, John Richard “Dick” Harris.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Kathryn Harris of Fairhope; sister, Kathy A. (Larry) Hughes of Daphne; three children, Jennifer A. Coppejans of Mobile, Stephen C. Coppejans of Tokyo, Japan and Michael A. (Asta) Coppejans; and their daughter, Irene of Vantaa, Finland; a niece, Mary Lauren Hughes of Nashville, Tenn.; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory in Daphne at 6 p.m, on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC), the Haven for Animals in Fairhope, or the American Cancer Society.
