Vickie Darlene Orem, 57, a resident of Troy, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015.
Survivors include her brother, Millard Douglas Orem III and his wife Paula; two sisters, Wanda Gorum and her husband Andy, and Patricia Gail Orem; nieces and nephews, Lindsey Marie Gorum, William Aaron Gorum and Megan Christine Gorum; and her beloved dog, Prissy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard Douglas Orem Jr. and Eloise Lindsey Orem.
Ms. Orem graduated from Troy University and was employed for 30-plus years at Sanders Lead Co.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 11 a.m., from Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Rick Hayes officiating.
Interment will follow in Bay Minette Cemetery at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Dave Kelso officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
