Victoria Anne Saxer, 23, of Fairhope, passed away Sept. 4, 2014.

She was born Aug. 3, 1991 in Colorado Springs, Colo., the third child and second daughter to Ashley Martin and Michael Saxer.

She was a wonderful and influential person who positively affected the lives of everyone she knew, and was the most kindhearted and caring person that any of her family and friends knew. Her presence would put everyone at ease.

Succeeding at everything she put her mind to, she was on the dean’s list and was the cohort leader at her school, Breckinridge School of Nursing. She worked at several different jobs that enabled her to immediately engage with people who needed her help in both hospital and home healthcare.

She is survived by her parents, Ashley (Brian) Martin of Fairhope and Michael (Janet) Saxer of Waveland, Miss.; brother, John Saxer of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Caitlen Babb of Fairhope; and many other relatives and friends.

Victoria was a bright and kind young woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Victoria’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at The Dwelling Place Church, 18246 S. Greeno Road in Fairhope.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Victoria Anne Saxer’s name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, www.afsp.org.
